EY Israel, Start-Up Nation central and IATI are excited to host the 5th DigitalHealth.il conference which serves as a unique platform for knowledge sharing and networking.
Israel is the start-up nation and leading innovation hub in life sciences, information, communication, mobile and cyber technologies. It has years of expertise in implementing health IT, health information exchange, business analytics and digital health in its healthcare systems and plays a major role in the global digital health landscape.
Today’s healthcare systems face many challenges; Increased costs, aging population, empowered consumers, fragmented care, and wasted resources, and therefore the way we consume and receive healthcare services need to be reinvented.
DigitalHealth.il conference 2019 will focus on
"Tech Giants are Entering Healthcare”
The healthcare sector is at a boiling point. Cost is continuously increasing, patient outcomes have remained stagnant, providers and payers are struggling to survive in an uncertain future while consumers are becoming more demanding.
The “Tech Giants” believe they are uniquely positioned to enter a complex healthcare market and leverage their experience and tech stack, in consumers’ approach, big data and AI to solve some of the biggest and most challenging problems plaguing the healthcare system. By doing so, they also expect to capture a piece of the growing $9.6 T market.
At the conference we will explore how the “Classical” healthcare stakeholder can adapt, change and collaborate with the “new” stakeholders in order to dramatically impact the healthcare system.

Our pitch preparation process allows our semi-finalists to take part in unique presentation workshops and one-on-one meetings with industry leaders. Our goal is to help them prepare for the semifinal event which includes a live presentation in front of an audience of investors and c-level professionals from the industry. Those selected will then receive additional workshops and personal guidance in preparation for their “PITCH perfect” moment at the finals in January.
The guidance process will be led by Barry Katz Ltd. The Barry Katz team believes that No one will recognize a good idea unless it its well presented.
Great ideas do not sell themselves. The presenter has to pitch an idea in a way that instantly grabs and keeps audiences attention. This can be best achieved with an authentic and unique style, with a simple easy to understand, clear and credible value statement.
